Campus Manilla is now seeking a certified teacher in Swedish and Social Studies for grades 4-6. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in February or by agreement.

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing students in the best possible way for the future. You are clear in your leadership and eager to create teaching that is adapted to each student's conditions and needs. You combine good subject knowledge with the ability to build strong relationships and can work together with families to promote the student's overall development. Through varied teaching, you create engagement for learning. You have the ability to clearly communicate goals and requirements and provide students with feedback that advances their learning.

As a colleague, you are reflective and unpretentious, actively driving collaboration with colleagues to develop teaching and the organization forward.

Your tasks

You will teach Swedish and Social Studies for students in grades 4-6.

As a teacher at Campus Manilla, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating students' learning. At Campus Manilla, we apply grading starting from grade 4. You lead learning in the classroom and are responsible for ensuring that students meet the goals in their subjects. You are part of a working team and are responsible for collaborating with your colleagues regarding students' learning and developing the organization.

As a mentor for a group of middle school students, you conduct development talks, collaborate with guardians and students, and actively work with group and motivation-enhancing tasks. We are looking for someone who prioritizes students, knowledge goals, and curiosity. To succeed in the teaching role at Campus Manilla, you need to have a natural drive and be an open person who can see new exciting opportunities in learning. You also need to be a skilled relationship builder and have the ability to create team spirit and a genuine interest in working with your subjects and the school's values.

This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period according to the Almega free school agreement. Start date is February 10, 2025, or by agreement.

Campus Manilla is run by the politically and religiously independent foundation Carpe Scientia. The school operates entirely without profit motives and aims to develop into Sweden's best school. In our beautiful premises on Djurgården, we have both primary and secondary schools. Campus Manilla has approximately 800 students from preschool to the third year of high school and about 110 staff members.
