Turebergs Swim Club is located in Sollentuna, just outside Stockholm. We have about 1600 active members, over 1000 of whom are in our swimming school activities, with the remainder in other activities, from beginner to elite level. The club was founded in 1972 and we have been running swimming school activities since 2000.

The workplace is Sollentuna swimming and sports hall, featuring a 25 m pool and a teaching pool.

As a swimming instructor, you will plan and lead lessons in several of our swimming school groups for children aged 5 and up. You will work actively in the water and in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will organize diplomas, write level recommendations, and communicate with parents at the edge of the pool. You will participate in the club's leadership meetings and provide your input on how we can continuously develop together. Instruction takes place in both the teaching pool and the main pool. The activities primarily follow the guidelines of the Swedish Swimming Federation for swimming school operations.

The job suits you if...

• you are primarily a qualified swimming instructor with experience in the field, but also if you have a background as a swimmer/coach or experience in other work with children.
• you have very good water skills and good swimming abilities.
• you are positive, independent, and responsible.
• you enjoy working in a team with others and with children in the water.

Employment type: The position is a limited-term employment until June 2025, with the possibility of extension thereafter. Salary according to agreement.

Scope: Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week, including lesson and planning time.

Working hours: Saturday or Sunday and Monday to Thursday afternoons/evenings, lesson starts at 16:00 on weekends and at 15:45 on weekdays.

Salary: According to agreement.

Start: Immediately or according to agreement.
