Do you want to be part of developing Freinetskolan Mimer's secondary school and be an important part of our student health team? We are looking for a special educator, preferably with qualifications as a special teacher, primarily focused on the secondary level. The position involves a broad assignment: in the student health team, in the teaching team, in working with students, in contact with guardians and external actors.

The position is full-time, permanent from 250203 (or by agreement), with a 6-month probationary period.

Freinetskolan Mimer is an independent non-profit school, run by the staff (about 55 permanent employees) together in a staff cooperative. We have two school units: the secondary school in the former Tingshuset Norrtälje with about 170 students and the primary and preschool on Utvägen with about 240 students and children. We have been running the school since 1997.

One of Mimer's guiding stars is that All children are winners, and we expect all staff to embrace that approach. We work based on Célestin Freinet's theories of children's learning and development, and an interest in Freinet pedagogy is a prerequisite.
