Workplace Description
Slättgårdsskolan is a school with approximately 530 students currently divided into two different units since a fire in 2020.
The school is under construction, and in the meantime, grades F-4 are in a newly built part of Slättgårdsskolan in Bredäng, while grades 5-9 are in Vårberg.
We have dedicated and ambitious staff who contribute to developing our operations, which is reflected in the good academic results.
We are working to develop learning in digital environments, and all our students have their own digital tools.
We are proud of Slättgårdsskolan and are looking for you who want to take on the challenge of further developing the school together with us.
Job Description
The position is a fixed-term part-time employment of 80%.
At Slättgårdsskolan, we have high goals and visions, which is why our team consists of individuals who want to create the best conditions for the students.
It is important for us who you are as a person and that you have the ability to exercise clear leadership in the classroom and be a role model in your interactions with the school's students, colleagues, and guardians.
You should have a genuine interest in children and young people and enjoy creating good and close relationships with the students. Your colleagues, like you, have a strong commitment and focus on the students' development, both academically and socially.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has a teaching license
- is qualified to teach the subject of Home Economics
- is well-versed in governing documents
- has good computer skills
- is used to taking significant personal responsibility and can work independently
It is advantageous to have:
- experience in analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge
- experience working with students with special needs
- experience with Stockholm City’s system Infomentor
You find it easy to collaborate with others and to work independently. You are clear and responsible.
You see the use of digital tools as a natural part of working with students and feel comfortable being present in the students' regular teaching situations.
