Kastanjebackens preschool is looking for someone interested in working with children in preschool.

The preschool is centrally located in Vasastan and has good transport connections nearby.

Your Role

Working as operational support is an important task where you are responsible for following and providing support to a child in the group. You will be present in play, activities, routines, and rest. Your work is significant for the child's development and the overall experience of being in preschool. You will closely collaborate with other educators in the department, guardians, and special educators.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as operational support for three months with the possibility of extension. We have an open position as operational support for a child with special needs (epilepsy and motor and cognitive functional variations). Together with colleagues, you will follow planned training and provide the child with multiple opportunities to learn and develop playfully according to their needs. You will share the assignment with another colleague. You will receive support and guidance from a special educator to ensure the child's best development.

Your Experience and Competence

We are looking for someone who has:

• Childcare education or preschool teacher education
• Practical experience in educational activities for children in need of special support
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previously worked as operational support in preschool
• Are a trained nursing assistant
• Have knowledge and experience with epilepsy
• Have experience communicating with TAKK

We are looking for someone who is engaged and has an interest in preschool activities and children's development. You are focused, flexible, and able to adapt to changing circumstances. You have good collaboration skills and work professionally with colleagues, children, guardians, and habilitation. Since you will be working a lot independently, you need to be self-driven. You have a positive attitude and contribute to a good atmosphere in the preschool.
