Ösbyskolan is a very pleasant F-9 school consisting of about 700 students and 85 employees located in Gustavsberg, Värmdö municipality.

Special Educator with Overall Responsibility

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable special educator who is passionate about supporting students with special needs and guiding educators in their daily work. If you have solid experience in the field and want to be part of a dynamic and supportive team, then this is the position for you!

The assignment involves a school-wide special educational responsibility in close collaboration with school management and other professionals within the school's student health team.

The role includes systematically following up on students' academic results, conducting and analyzing assessments, planning and following up on extraordinary adaptations, working with students (individually or in smaller groups), being responsible for the reception of new students, and promoting the work with transitions between stages.

We are looking for someone who

• is an educated special educator with extensive experience
• is a licensed primary school teacher
• has clear leadership skills and the ability to inspire others
• has a positive view of students based on the belief that all students can and want to
• is good at building positive relationships and collaborating with others
• is used to carrying out tasks and delivering results within specified timeframes
