We are looking for a physiotherapist to the LSS team in Södertälje municipality

The health and medical care organization in Södertälje municipality is a joint organization where we gather the licensed staff within our elderly care and LSS operations to strengthen our roles in order to provide even better service to our patients.

A day at work:

As a physiotherapist, you will play an important role with us. You will be involved in creating conditions for individuals to live as independently as possible. You will work in teams around the patients in close collaboration with other health and medical care staff and care staff. You will assess the individual's abilities and their needs for training and assistive devices. The work also includes prescribing and testing assistive devices. Guidance and training of care staff within your own area of expertise. The assignment includes conducting mobility training for care staff. We work with Senior Alert and BPSD, and we work in teams where all our professions are involved. You will distribute and plan your work efforts based on the patients' care needs. The work is independent, and you will work with our various group homes, service homes, and residences within social psychiatry. You will start from our premises at Artursberg and from there drive one of our cars to your planned interventions.

Your tasks include continuous development and improvement of the operations in collaboration with care and housing staff, colleagues, managers, and other personnel.

Who are you?

Requirements:
- We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist
- You master Swedish in speech and writing
- A driver's license (B) is required as this position is mobile.

Meritorious:
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with disabilities.
- Previous work in training staff in rehabilitative and activating approaches, lifting and transfer techniques

Personal qualities:
- You are confident and independent in your professional role and comfortable working in a team consisting of other health and medical care staff, care and housing staff, and managers.
- You are good at communicating and can independently and flexibly plan your work.
- You are pedagogical.
- You see opportunities and want to be involved in driving improvement work together with the teams.
- You are interested in a developing and stimulating job where we put patients in focus.

The position is a temporary position that runs from immediately until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension within the health and medical care unit in Södertälje municipality. You will be employed within the entire health and medical care unit with primary placement in LSS.
