About the position

In our unit for pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, we care for child patients of all ages, from newborns to 18 years old, from all over the country. We take care of children and adolescents with inflammatory bowel diseases as well as other stomach and intestinal disorders. We also care for children and adolescents with liver diseases, pancreatic diseases, as well as intestinal failure and severe feeding problems that require special types of feeding with the help of gastrostomy, tube feeding, or central access. Many have serious and complex illnesses.

In the role of nurse in nutrition, you will collaborate closely with other professionals such as doctors, nursing assistants, dietitians, and psychologists. We have nurse consultations, doctor consultations, team visits, and telephone advice, as well as internal consultancy services in wards and emergency departments. You will be involved in training caregivers and school staff and will work both independently and in teams.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of an individually tailored schedule. The position also includes two weekend shifts per month in the inpatient ward. The main placement of the position is in Solna, but some work may also be required in Huddinge.

Requirements:

• licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• specialist nurse in pediatrics
• previous experience in pediatric nursing
