About Us

As a University Health Center, we supervise a number of students from various professions, and employees are given great opportunities to engage in student supervision, develop a specialty area, and/or work on various research projects within the health center's mission. We invest in professional development, and employees have the opportunity to participate in various training sessions and conferences based on the health center's mission and needs. You will start with general district nurse tasks with the opportunity to develop within a specialty area. Today, we have several district nurse-led clinics; in addition to diabetes, asthma-COPD/allergy, triage, we have clinics for the elderly, etc. In our clinics, we work cross-professionally and patient-centered.

Job Description:

The work involves all common tasks for a district nurse at a health center. As a district nurse in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures, both for scheduled and urgent visits, as well as telephone advice, etc. The work requires broad competence and independence.

Requirements:

• District nurse with prescribing rights and authorization to operate within Swedish healthcare.
• Experience with health center assignments is an advantage. Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system are also advantageous.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%, part-time may be discussed. A probationary period may be applied. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date according to agreement.
