Who are you?

To fit the role of estimator, you need to have previous experience in the construction and contracting industry and/or civil engineering. If you have a background as a skilled worker, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. As an estimator/bid engineer, you will be involved in the initial phase. Your responsibilities include responding to incoming inquiries, preparing complete and finalized bid proposals based on the conditions of each inquiry, collaborating with suppliers, customers, and colleagues, and managing projects at various stages. Your character as an estimator is characterized by being a good relationship builder, having a business sense that can contribute to business development, being structured, and actively seeking new projects to bid on.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least three to five years of documented experience in the role of estimator or a similar position.
• Possesses good knowledge of contract law, construction production, and working methods.
• Has a good understanding of the general regulations of the construction and civil engineering industry, including AB04, ABT, ABK, and the AMA system.
• Has experience in estimating both public and private procurement.
• Has good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Is skilled in MS Excel.

It is an advantage if:

• You have previous experience working as a consultant.
