Your New Role

We are now looking for a senior business controller for a leading player in Swedish culture. The role offers the opportunity to combine strategic analysis, reporting, and development work in a stimulating and socially beneficial environment.

As a business controller, you will be responsible for the processes surrounding business planning, follow-up, and evaluation. You will structure, analyze, and develop data and information from both internal and external sources. The role includes working with statistical analyses, reporting to authorities, and preparing written and oral reports for the CEO and board.

The work is development-oriented and coordinating, with close collaboration within the Finance and Business Support department as well as with other functions within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the business planning process, including follow-up and evaluation.
• Be responsible for external reporting to authorities and stakeholders.
• Internal reporting focusing on data and business results over time, as well as related development work.
• Act as a system administrator for analysis and statistics.
• Complete remaining tasks and reporting for the fiscal year 2025, including necessary reporting after the transition to 2026.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• At least 10 years of experience in controlling.
• A degree in statistics/analysis, economics, or another relevant social science field.
• Several years of documented experience in planning, analysis, follow-up, and reporting from public operations, the cultural sector, and/or civil society.
• Experience working with statistical methods and analysis in Excel or other tools.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Desirable: Experience compiling information using Power Query and experience with SQL queries from various data sources.
• Desirable: Good knowledge of the cultural sector and its infrastructure in Sweden.
• Desirable: Understanding of grassroots movements and association development.
