About Us
The position is part of the Finance Department at Regionhälsan and you will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
You will be part of a team of eight employees, including accounting economists and controllers, located at four local offices in Gothenburg, Skövde, Vänersborg, and Borås. The work of the Finance Department includes planning, budgeting, accounting, analysis and follow-up, purchasing issues, and investments. The department's work is carried out in close collaboration with other staff functions and provides support to the management's regional areas/businesses and management groups.
We are in an exciting development phase where we are enhancing our financial processes and support for our operations. We work together and strive to share knowledge and experiences with each other.
About the Job
You will be part of a group but work independently with ongoing accounting and year-end closing as support for the operations. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly within finance while also contributing to the development of the accounting process. You will have many contacts primarily within Regionhälsan but also within the Västra Götaland region and externally.
In the role of accounting economist, you will:
- work with ongoing accounting and year-end closing
- provide qualified support in accounting to our operations
- work both independently and in a team
- participate in development work
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics with a focus on accounting or education that, combined with experience, is deemed equivalent. You should have documented experience in qualified economic work within accounting. You must have good knowledge of Office programs, particularly Excel. Experience with and knowledge of the Raindance financial system is an advantage. You should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written language.
You are communicative and structured with a good sense for numbers. You should be able to work both independently and in a team and be service-oriented. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where flexibility, accuracy, and good collaboration skills are important aspects.
Conditions
The position is a fixed-term employment for approximately one year with the possibility of extension. Start in April or by agreement.
Location can be discussed.
Selection may occur continuously, and interviews are scheduled for January 29.
