About the position

On the outskirts of Karlsborg Fortress with a view of Lake Vättern lies Nammo, a historic company that started back in 1870. The factory is the only one of its kind in Sweden that manufactures military small-caliber ammunition. We are now looking for a person who can take responsibility, be meticulous, and enjoys working with small details, as well as having a good ability to oversee the entire process.

Your main tasks

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of an active and knowledgeable team where everyone works together to achieve set goals with small details. You will be involved in change and improvement work within the department. You will perform corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, new construction, and participate in projects. The work is located in Karlsborg and is currently scheduled during daytime.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, we prefer that you have:

• Completed high school education, preferably with an industrial mechanical profile.
• A strong desire to learn more and develop in a workplace.
• Knowledge of assembly, gearboxes, gears, and belt drives, etc.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English.
