About the position as a painter/prepper at Werksta Kalix

Responsibilities for painter/prepper – car damage repair and painting at Werksta Kalix

• Preparation of vehicles for painting, including filling, sanding, masking, and degreasing.
• Mixing and applying paint as well as performing primer and topcoat painting.
• Quality control of work results and quality assurance according to Werksta's standards.
• Repair and maintenance work on the body as needed.
• Contribute to improvement processes within the work environment, production, and handling of chemicals.
• Team collaboration and dialogue with claims handlers and other workshop roles.

Requirements and qualifications for painter/prepper – Werksta Kalix

• Education or documented experience in car painting, industrial painting, or similar.
• Experience in pre-treatment and painting of vehicles.
• Ability to work according to work orders and production planning.
• Knowledge of work environment regulations and safe handling of chemicals.
• Driver's license B.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Meticulous, responsible, and has an eye for detail.
• Solution-oriented and thrives both with personal responsibility and as part of a close-knit team.
