Norrlands Dragon Regiment is now looking for a logistics officer for the Logistics Department, G4, which is part of the regiment staff. We are responsible for technical services and supply management, transport planning, and have the main responsibility for both the planning process and the implementation process. The department leads and follows up on logistics at the regiment to support unit production, maintain readiness, and conduct operations. In the role of logistics officer, you will work in a broad area together with the Logistics Chief, Technical Chief, logistics officers, and logistics officers. Both military and civilian personnel work in the department.
Together, you will work to ensure access and maintenance of equipment for the various units within K 4.
Main Responsibilities
As a logistics officer, you report directly to the department head. You will work together with our logisticians in the combat units to serve as a link in our material supply. The position is varied, and the majority of tasks consist of administrative duties. Your main responsibilities will primarily be within supply management, including material planning, transport planning, ordering, analysis, follow-up, and inventory. Ongoing management of allocation and distribution decisions, permissions, and record maintenance in support systems, as well as invoice management within the framework of the department's tasks. Health and physical training are a natural part of the work for all personnel in the Swedish Armed Forces.
Since the Swedish Armed Forces are experiencing strong growth, you need to be prepared for other tasks to occur within the scope of the position at G4 and that the tasks may develop over time.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Approved high school education or training/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Computer proficiency with broad knowledge of the Office suite
- At least two years of professional experience in the logistics field that the employer deems relevant
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Driver's license B (manual)

For the position, you need to be flexible and prepared to work under provisional conditions. You can work independently and see the bigger picture. You are meticulous and can prioritize between tasks. As a person, you are structured, organized, and quick to learn new systems. You have good pedagogical skills and are unpretentious in your approach. You can implement decisions made but also speak up if you think something is wrong. For the position, we see that you have a high security awareness.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Experience from military operations at battalion or regiment staff level
- Experience in leading and/or being responsible for a function/process
- Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces' systems, mainly SAP/PRIO and LIFT
- Training in transport services
- Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' document and case management system (VIDAR)
- Current and relevant experience in logistics and administration from the Swedish Armed Forces

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time, regular working hours during the day Monday – Friday, evening, weekend, and overnight work may occur.
