About the roleAs a business developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the company's service offerings related to the port's properties, land areas, and facilities. To succeed, you need to have a commercial and analytical ability as well as a good understanding of property and contract law. You are accustomed to customer dialogues, drafting agreements, and are skilled in negotiations. The goal is to ensure competitive offers and efficient utilization of the port's assets together.
Main responsibilitiesYou will be part of building a team that focuses on the port's overall business and service offerings, with a strong focus on property development, leases, and agreements. You will develop our customer relationships and collaborations and work closely with our projects and departments to ensure efficiency and feasibility. You will provide analysis and decision-making support to management and the CEO and act as an internal specialist in leases, rental agreements, and commercial leasing. Examples of tasks include:
Conducting market and environmental analyses and developing business plans, utilization analyses, and profitability calculations.
Initiating, driving, and evaluating business development within the port's land and facilities.
Negotiating, renegotiating, and drafting agreements for land, buildings, storage areas, and usage rights.
Following up on customer needs and ensuring that agreements and service levels meet the customers' operations and the port's goals.
Academic education in fields such as real estate, economics, civil engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent.
Experience in business development, commercial management, or project management within real estate or facilities.
Experience from port, logistics, or industrial properties.
Experience in leases, rental agreements, service agreements/SLA, and contract management.
As a person, you are self-driven, customer-focused, and professional in your interactions with our customers and partners. You need to balance customer needs with the business's conditions, which is why we believe you are a solution-oriented person who thrives in a changing environment.
ConditionsEmployment type: Permanent, we apply a six-month probationary period. Working hours: Full-time Start date: By agreement Location: Luleå.
