Are you interested in working in rural areas with developing tasks? Arvidsjaur Health Center is a distinct rural health center with dedicated colleagues characterized by an open and welcoming atmosphere and a forward-thinking approach to developing care with the patient at the center.
We are looking for
We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education and preferably a background in economics. A university education or experience in similar fields or service professions is an advantage. You need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English as we have many visitors from other countries. Other language skills are also an advantage, as is a B driver's license.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, flexible, and service-oriented, and who enjoys working both independently and in a team. To succeed in the role of receptionist with us, you should be a structured and communicative person with a high ability to organize your work and set realistic goals. You also have an economic awareness and understand how business principles can be applied to achieve high quality and efficiency in daily work.
For us, it is important that you are meticulous in your work and have a genuine interest in meeting and helping people, while also having the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
What you will work with
Arvidsjaur Health Center is a rural health center with about 6100 registered patients. The health center includes a medical clinic, district nurse, nurse, and nursing assistant clinics, a psychosocial team with counseling, maternal and child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, foot care, as well as a laboratory and radiology. In addition, we operate around the clock with an emergency clinic and a general medical ward with 6 beds. The health center also has an ambulance station that partially works integrated into our operations.
At the clinic, we work in teams around the patients. The team consists of various professional roles working together to ensure that the patient receives the best possible care. You, as a receptionist, are also part of the team. In primary care, we are the hub of the patient's care and we focus on continuity.
As a receptionist at Arvidsjaur Health Center, you will be a key person in our operations and have overall responsibility for ensuring that the reception's work runs smoothly and efficiently. You will meet both patients and colleagues in an environment where good service and efficient work are the focus. As you are often the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you are, to a large extent, the face of the Health Center. In this role, you will work in a dynamic and responsible function where you make a difference for both patients and colleagues.
The work is stimulating and varied with tasks such as patient registration, welcoming visitors, handling mail, and managing incoming calls and emails. You will also be responsible for financial tasks such as cash management, handling cash, invoicing, and working against the budget, as well as keeping track of contracted services and ordering supplies and office materials. Some administration, record-keeping, and work in the M365 software are included in the position.
An important part of your role is to be responsible for leasing cars, which includes booking, ordering tire changes, and scheduling service. You will also be responsible for staff accommodation, where tasks include booking, confirmation, preparations for arrival, and invoicing. Additionally, you will book interpreter visits and keep track of current interpreting services according to contracts, as well as book conference rooms when needed. You will also help update and maintain the work routines related to the reception's tasks.
