About the Job
The work involves investigating, registering, and making decisions on various population registration cases. Some cases are simple and quick while others take more time. You will request additional information via phone, mail, and digital mailboxes in contact with individuals and public actors. With the support of laws and regulations, you will assess the documentation and make decisions. The cases you handle require speed and efficiency. You will meet people from different backgrounds via phone and written correspondence. The job involves many contacts, for example with customers and other authorities.
You will receive an introduction and a supervisor who will help you plan your work. You will then independently manage your cases and collaborate with others. The work involves handling different types of cases, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. We have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.
You will belong to the Population and Property Department and work in Population and Property Unit 5. Your placement is in Luleå.
About You

In this job, you should:

- be able to speak and write simply and clearly in both Swedish and English

You should also have:
- a current (at least 60 approved credits) or recently completed university education of at least 180 credits in law or social sciences.
It is desirable that you have relevant work experience at the Swedish Tax Agency.
It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience in administrative or case-handling work, for example from public operations, agencies, insurance companies, or banks.
Good to Know
The employment is temporary until August 14, 2026. You can start the position on May 4, May 18, or June 1, 2026. If you start in May, there is an opportunity to work 50% initially, which provides good conditions to combine work with studies. From June 1, the position will transition to 100%.
You will work on-site at our office in Luleå. It will not be possible to work from home.

In this recruitment, we may use psychological tests.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
