The Care and Welfare Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and includes elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work as a summer substitute within the Care and Welfare Administration. You will have the opportunity for exciting work with variety in one of our units. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

Within the administration, we actively work for everyone's work environment and create conditions for you to feel joy and satisfaction in your work every day. If you become one of us, we also offer you a calm and secure introduction.

As a personal assistant, you are a person's support in all situations of daily life. This means a varied job where you assist the user with everything from meal situations, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene to leisure activities and communication.

Your work is characterized by responsibility in meetings and interactions with other people. It is the needs of the individuals we support that guide your work.

The work involves you, together with other staff, providing support, service, care, and welfare. The interventions are individually planned, which means that the care recipient's individual needs and conditions are at the center. It may also involve assisting in daily life and various social activities. The work requires good manners, teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, and good communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a summer substitute in personal assistance with us, you need:

• A valid criminal record check!
• To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic computer skills
• To be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you have studied the Care and Welfare program or another education that is considered equivalent. Experience from care and welfare work is also an advantage. It is beneficial if you have a driver's license.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and shared tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
