The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and leisure to preschool class, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a teaching assistant for Lexby School for the spring term of 2025. The role includes both pedagogical and medical support directed towards specific students. As a teaching assistant, you will belong to one of our four teams at the school as well as our support team. You will support students both pedagogically, socially, and medically. Tasks may include being a playground supervisor and occasional substitute teaching hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role of teaching assistant, you need to have a high school education focused on children/youth and/or care or other education that the employer considers suitable. You need to have knowledge of NPF and understand the importance of clarifying pedagogy, predictability, calmness, and safety. We would like you to have experience supporting youth in pedagogical work and have experience working in schools.

You are a person who finds it easy to build good relationships and communicate with your surroundings. You have a high degree of personal maturity and are responsible and flexible. You have a genuine interest in youth and the assignment and are a role model for the students at the school. We view positively if you have an interest in sports or music.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

Upon job offer, an ID check will be conducted and an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.
