You are warmly welcome to apply for a preschool teacher position at Little Kids Preschool. We are looking for an enthusiastic and licensed preschool teacher.

Little Kids Preschool is a multicultural, newly established preschool that opened in 2014. The preschool and its facilities are newly built and located in the beautiful and nature-friendly Lövgärdet near Angered. The preschool consists of three departments.

Education

You must have a Swedish preschool teacher degree and license, or a foreign preschool teacher degree that has met the requirements from the Swedish National Agency for Education, which has then granted preschool teacher certification.

You need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We follow the Swedish curriculum for preschools (Lpfö18), work with creative themes, and place special focus on the individual child and our values of diversity, gender perspective, democracy, and equality.

The languages spoken at Little Kids Preschool are primarily Swedish, with a focus on the English language two days a week, but we have children and guardians from many different countries who also contribute other languages and cultures.

At our preschool, we base our work on our profession and good interactions. We want to create an inclusive climate where the collaboration between home and preschool promotes each child's development and learning. With the child at the center, you will have the opportunity to contribute with your skills and commitment. You will base your work on the preschool's governing documents, and together with your team, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the activities and the educational environment that promotes safety, play, and learning. At Little Kids Preschool, we believe that outdoor activities and movement are an important part of children's everyday lives, and we create our educational activities in both indoor and outdoor environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for positive and driven licensed preschool teachers with good pedagogical abilities and an approach that benefits both the organization and the shared work environment. You may be newly graduated or have several years of experience. You are well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and see development and collaboration as important aspects of maintaining and developing good quality. You appreciate structure and order, and are proficient in ongoing digital documentation work.

According to the Education Act, extracts from the police criminal record must be presented by individuals before they are employed in preschool activities. You can order this from the Police's website.
