The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and leisure to preschool class, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. Our vision is that every student leaves school rich in knowledge and convinced of their ability to create their future together with others. All students should also remember their school days as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities of the Education Administration have a clear common focus on all children's and students' conditions for completing their studies.

Lillegårdsskolan is a school with about 320 students, from preschool class to grade 5. The school has a strategic location near the forest, which is often used in the school's teaching. It is within walking distance to Partille center with Kulturum, the library, which is regularly utilized by student groups. The school has two parallel classes, and we work in teams that include both primary school teachers and leisure educators. The school has a flex group to support students in grades 3-5. At Lillegårdsskolan, we promote development work and clearly link it to our prioritized goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to our wonderful team! We are now looking for a special educator for the spring term of 2025. Here, you will be part of a staff with a high density of qualifications and a strong commitment to our students and their development.

As a special educator, you will be part of the school's student health team, be an integral part of the school's development work, and have close collaboration with educators, the student health team, and school management.

Your tasks will include mentoring teachers or other staff, driving school development, and providing support for students in need. In this role, you will need to identify, analyze, and remove barriers that cause difficulties in the learning environment. Your work will also involve supporting teachers in their teaching. You will be responsible for assessing students' needs for special support, which includes mapping, analysis, and follow-up. You will also be responsible for certain pedagogical documentation, including the establishment and evaluation of action plans. In your role, you will also participate in transitions between different activities and during stage changes.

The promoting and preventive work should be prioritized, and you need to contribute a special educational perspective.

This recruitment is for a seasonal position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher with a special education degree. We would prefer that you have experience teaching grades 1-6.

For this role, you need to have experience working with students in need of support, as well as experience with pedagogical investigations and action plans. We also want you to have good knowledge of compensatory aids. Experience with digital documentation is a plus.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and the ability to build good relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues.
