RESPONSIBILITIES

At Krumelurens Preschool, we want to develop the work of discovering, understanding, supporting, and challenging children's various ways of exploring, learning, and developing. This requires access to a rich toolbox, different strategies, and a constant ongoing reflection on what we do, how we do it, and why we do it. You will be responsible for leading and, together with your team, driving the educational activities according to the curriculum and based on the preschool's established goals. The preschool teacher is responsible for ensuring that the team's work aligns with the democratic values that children have the right to encounter in their education.

You will work process-oriented with project-based learning as a foundation where children are challenged and developed based on their needs and interests. We want you, together with the team, to have a reflective working method and that you, with the support of pedagogical documentation, make visible, challenge, and deepen children's learning processes both individually and in groups. We want you to be attentive, curious, and initiative-taking, and to co-create in challenging our operations and our pedagogical approach.

In the development work, we see the importance of children's learning environment both indoors and outdoors. With us, there is ongoing training and networking for exchanging knowledge, ideas, and experiences. You will be part of a staff group consisting of dedicated preschool teachers and childcare workers. To support all our educators, there are special educators who are part of a resource team together with a speech therapist and psychologist. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher with experience in project-based working methods and who is confident in your leadership. For us, it is very important that the curriculum's mission and values permeate your work in a democratic approach. Experience in leading conversations and conducting challenging discussions with guardians is an advantage. We wish that you have good computer skills in programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and various documentation tools. You have the ability to see opportunities in situations instead of obstacles and work well in teams as well as independently.

As a person, you are attentive and have a good ability to build relationships with both children, colleagues, and guardians. Prioritizing and adapting your working method according to the needs of the operation while always considering the best interests of the children is a given for you. As a preschool teacher, you recognize the significance of both the group and the environment for learning and are inspired by children's curiosity and creativity. We see you as a co-researching preschool teacher who is curious and creates opportunities for children to develop their theories and hypotheses.
