Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Education Sector includes preschools and primary schools with associated school-age childcare, adapted primary school, high school, adapted high school, adult education, and Culture and Leisure.

Nösnäsgymnasiet is a school with a wide range of educational offerings, many opportunities, competence, and commitment. We offer a mix of university preparatory programs, vocational and introductory programs, as well as apprenticeship training and adapted high school. Nösnäsgymnasiet has a positive development with attractive educational programs and an increasing number of students. The school has won several awards and prizes in recent years. We successfully work with UF - Young Entrepreneurship and have won the award for School of the Year. The beautiful environment around the school, with lush greenery and views over Hakefjorden, is inspiring. In the central parts of the school are the administration, café, and our library, which has received the award for World-Class School Library for several years in a row. We are also an Amnesty School. Close to the school is Stenungsund Arena, which is the municipality's largest sports facility, including an ice rink and swimming pool.

At Nösnäsgymnasiet, we think outside the box, we open the doors and take in inspiration from the outside. But we also look inward and try to find what drives each individual. Together we find the way forward.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching, youth, and development!

You will belong to School Unit 2 and work on teaching and planning lessons in subjects within the Health and Care program. We are part of the Health and Care College, which means we have a close collaboration with the industry. In addition to teaching, mentorship, follow-up of students' learning during APL, and securing APL placements are included in the role. You are expected to be active in the collaboration within the Health and Care College and in the systematic quality work. The school has a strong commitment and focus on development. Work is conducted in teams and in close collaboration with the school's student health team and other teachers at the school. You will be part of a team consisting of four teachers.

The position will encompass 50–100% depending on your subject combination. The basis for Health and Care subjects is approximately 50%.
