Mother tongue usually refers to the first language or languages learned and spoken at home. The mother tongue has great significance for children's language, identity, personality, and cognitive development. A well-developed mother tongue provides a good foundation for learning Swedish and other languages.

About the job

Work as a mother tongue teacher and study guide for students in grades F-9, as well as possibly working as a study guide in high school and adult education. Work as a mother tongue teacher in preschool may also be relevant.

Who are you

You have a Swedish teacher's degree or a teacher's degree from abroad that can be verified and has been validated by the Swedish Council for Higher Education, or you have started a Swedish teacher education. Other pedagogical education is also considered an asset. Experience working in preschool and/or teaching in primary school, high school, and adult education is seen as meritorious. We consider it positive that you master more languages than Ukrainian and Russian, as our children and students come from all over the world.

Your Swedish and mother tongue should be good enough for you to express yourself in speech and writing at an academic level.

You who are applying should have good computer skills. The job requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a great sense of responsibility.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as you will be working in all of the municipality's preschools, primary schools, as well as high school and adult education.

Consideration will be given to personal suitability.

Other

Temporary employment 25% with start date according to agreement. Our operations require that everyone who is to be employed to work with children and young people, according to law (2000:873), must present a certificate from the criminal record register.
