The Care and Social Services Administration, with approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work as a summer substitute within the Care and Social Services Administration. You will have the opportunity for an exciting job with variation in one of our units. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

Within the administration, we actively work for everyone's work environment and create conditions for you to feel joy and satisfaction in your work every day. If you become one of us, we also offer you a calm and secure introduction.

The work involves you, together with other staff, providing support and service in everyday life and during various social activities for children and young people with psychiatric, intellectual, neuropsychiatric, and/or physical disabilities.

Our pedagogy is adapted based on individual needs and conditions and is built on care, clarity, and commitment. We work with encouragement and community, but also with structure and boundaries. As a support assistant, your main task is to provide individual support, service, and care. The work includes both practical tasks and social documentation.

The work involves you, together with other staff, providing support, service, care, and assistance. The interventions are individually planned, which means that the individual needs and conditions of the care recipients are at the center. It may also involve assisting in everyday life and during various social activities. The work requires a good attitude, ability to collaborate, sense of responsibility, and good communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be able to work as a summer substitute in short-term operations with us, you need:

• A valid criminal record check
• To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic digital skills
• To be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you have studied the Health and Care program or another education that is considered equivalent. Experience in care and social work is also an advantage. It is advantageous if you have a driver's license.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adjust your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and shared tasks with the best interests of the users in focus.
