Skoghall, with its 12 treatment rooms, is one of Folktandvården Värmland's larger clinics.

We are 31 employees taking care of 5,690 adult patients and 4,490 children and young people. The clinic offers care within general dentistry as well as extended surgery, nitrous oxide treatment, and dental care at the nursing home in the municipality. Here you will work within your entire competence and with both child and adult patients.

We work according to the work model 7 – 19, where we alternate between morning and afternoon shifts. With us, there is always someone to ask for help, and a good atmosphere and collaboration prevail within and between all professional categories. There are individual development opportunities and the possibility to work with distributed tasks. Every year, there are opportunities to take courses and participate in various networks. If you are newly graduated, you will receive good support from your colleagues. In addition, we provide you with a good start to your new career as you will go through Folktandvården's comprehensive introduction program, which combines theory with practical work.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include all tasks within the dental hygienist's professional role. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in child and adult dentistry with examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes, for example, joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy, etc., and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's BVC, preschools, and schools.

Your Skills/Competencies

We are looking for someone with a dental hygienist degree and license in the profession. Experience is an advantage but not a requirement. If you are in your final term of studies, you are also welcome to apply for the position.

As a person, you take responsibility for your work and adapt to prevailing circumstances. You collaborate well with others and have a good ability to create relationships. It is important to us that those we meet feel satisfied after a visit, and we place great emphasis on good service and a positive attitude.
