Your Workplace

The Ambulance Services in Värmland are county-wide with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are looking for a new employee for the ambulance station in Kristinehamn. The ambulance services are challenged by the acute care of injured and sick people in various environments. Through assessment and referral, we contribute to ensuring that care is provided at the right level.

We strive for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new employees undergo a 4-week introduction and position training.

Your Responsibilities

The ambulance in Kristinehamn is looking for nurses for both day and night shifts. The job includes assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients to the appropriate level of care, as well as standard nursing tasks within ambulance care.

Health and medical care is based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We want to advance health and medical care together with our employees.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for registered nurses/ambulance nurses/specialist nurses with at least 1 year of clinical experience. A B driver's license is required with at least 3 years of driving experience. C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, and flexible. You are self-sufficient in your work but also enjoy collaborating with other colleagues.

Before any employment, you must complete work tests and undergo an approved health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
