Your workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is regional with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are a suitably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the whole picture and be involved in influencing it.

For summer 2025, we are looking for new employees for the ambulance service. Summer positions may lead to permanent employment.

Your tasks

The ambulance service faces challenges in the acute care of sick and injured individuals in many different environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that the patient receives good care at the right level. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who knows the next part of the care chain.

Work shifts will be both day and night.

Healthcare is based on our patients' needs and the competence of our staff. We want to drive healthcare forward together with our employees. We strive for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new employees undergo a seven-week introduction and position training.

Your knowledge and skills

We are looking for you who are a trained ambulance caregiver with priority 1 certification. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with good collaboration skills. A B driver's license and C1/C driver's license are required with at least three years of driving experience.

Before potential employment, you must complete work tests and undergo an approved health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.

On Wednesday, February 5, a full day of interviews and work tests will be conducted. It is desirable that you bring a certificate showing that you can swim 200 meters and an extract from the criminal record.
