We are looking for a special education teacher for grades 7-9 at Minneberg School.

Minneberg School is a modern school located in the city center of Arvika. A middle school adapted to each student's needs. There are safe spaces for recovery, community, activities, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you will be part of a student health team and be responsible for special education work. The role involves close collaboration with the school's working team to meet students' needs by mapping, adapting, and organizing support. Your tasks include providing support to students and maintaining regular contact with the student's guardians and school staff, which means you coordinate the student's schooling.

Qualifications

You are a qualified special education teacher, preferably with experience working in grades 7-9. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are self-driven, and value building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Your personal qualities are important to us; we see that you are flexible and creative with a structured approach to work. You have good pedagogical insight, take initiative, and are solution-focused.

Conditions

The position is permanent and will start from the spring term of 2025. Recruitment will take place continuously during the advertising period.
