We are now looking for three teachers in leisure centers/leisure educators, two of whom will be placed at Södermalm School and one at Stenstalid School.

The school administration's area of responsibility includes activities for children from one year old up to high school. The activities include school staff, preschool, elementary school, adapted elementary school, high school, adapted high school, and cultural school.

Together, we work for students' right to a good education, and the staff is the most important resource of the organization. In your role, you contribute to the development of the organization in the right direction and provide our students with good conditions to grow and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in a leisure center, you and your colleagues work together to consciously stimulate students' development and learning. We work to ensure that students are offered a meaningful leisure time and provide activities such as fun breaks, safer recesses, and play libraries.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Working towards the leisure center, as well as collaborating with the class
• Planning and implementing educational activities according to the curriculum for leisure centers.
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborating with colleagues and guardians to support students' development.
• Together with other educators, being responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of the activities.

We see pedagogical documentation as an obvious part of our systematic quality work and our organizational development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in leisure centers/leisure educator. You should be well acquainted with the curriculum for leisure centers. You are confident in yourself and your teaching role and can handle the challenges that arise inside and outside the classroom.

You contribute to creating trusting and secure relationships and show enthusiasm and commitment in your interactions with students. All students should meet adults who see each student's unique opportunities.

You have good problem-solving skills and easily adapt to different circumstances and situations that may arise. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message reaches the students.

We want you to describe your abilities in interacting with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others in your application and at a possible interview. It is important that you can reflect on the content and implementation of the activities from a holistic perspective.
