Description
Forshaga Lärcenter, a meeting place for everyone.
Forshaga Lärcenter is a F-9 primary school with adapted education and a leisure center. We have staff who are proud and engaged. We place great emphasis on everyone feeling involved, having a good understanding of their mission, and experiencing great joy at work.
All students should achieve the best possible results. Each child/student should develop based on their conditions and be able to acquire good knowledge and an ability to collaborate with and feel empathy for others.
Forshaga Lärcenter is now looking for a certified teacher in leisure center/leisure educator. We offer you an exciting and challenging job in an open work environment where you can contribute with new ideas, positive thoughts, and creative solutions. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for each individual student!
Responsibilities
You will divide your day between the leisure center and the school's activities. Part of the day, you will collaborate with class teachers based on the class's needs, and the rest of the time, you will carry out leisure center activities according to the leisure center's curriculum.
Together with your colleagues, you will conduct educational and meaningful leisure activities that challenge and stimulate our students for learning. You will be part of a team together with teachers and leisure educators/teachers in leisure center where you actively plan, evaluate, implement, and follow up on the school's educational activities and development work. The leisure center's goal is that all students should have good conditions for development and learning.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in leisure center/leisure educator or has another relevant education. It is a merit if you have experience in the profession and have worked with various working methods for students in need of support. You have a positive attitude where the child is always the focus and have a good ability to create and build relationships.
You have good leadership skills and are a role model for the children. You have a high trust in children's competence and can meet each individual with respect and care, adapting teaching based on each student's needs. We also believe that you naturally create good relationships with our students and their guardians.
A large part of the activities take place outdoors, so it is of utmost importance that you enjoy and can contribute to offering the children meaningful activities both indoors and outdoors. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Conditions
Permanent position 100%, a probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the law on certification requirements (SFS 2014:458), teachers without certification cannot be offered a permanent position. Teachers without certification are therefore offered a temporary position.
If you are offered a position in preschool, school, and youth and leisure activities, you are required by law to provide an extract from the criminal record. You must request an extract from the National Police Board with the form "Extract from the criminal record" in the form archive from the police website.
Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application date.
