We are now looking for an experienced payroll administrator for the company's Swedish headquarters in Tranemo as our current one is retiring.

As a payroll administrator in Sweden, you will play a key role in the organization and have the operational responsibility for payroll management.

You will report directly to the CFO, Sweden, and you will be part of the finance function where you will have five colleagues who support and help each other.

Your main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Responsible for payroll processing every month, as well as controls, tracking vacation usage, and reporting pension contributions to various authorities
  • Deliver excellent service and good communication to employees and leaders in the organization, via phone and email
  • Ensure accurate reporting to authorities and other stakeholders in collaboration with Finance and HR
  • Handle questions regarding pensions, health insurance, benefits, time registration, taxation, etc.
  • Work proactively on streamlining and optimizing processes/routines.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant legislation and collective agreements for respective areas
  • Management of company cards and their accounting
  • Handle other financial tasks such as managing accounts payable, reconciling the general ledger, and serving as backup within the finance department

In the team, you are the expert and have in-depth knowledge of Swedish legislation related to the area and are used to interpreting different collective agreements.

Who are you

You are responsible, work independently with precision, high integrity, and respect for deadlines.

In addition, we would like you to have:

  • In-depth knowledge of Swedish legislation, rules regarding payroll, and collective agreements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an independent role as a payroll administrator
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Good ability to interpret various collective agreements (experience with the collective agreements from Retail and IKEM is an advantage)
  • Experience with the Hogia payroll system is an advantage
