About us Within the Product Safety unit, we test in the areas of electrical safety and enclosures, explosion protection (ATEX/Ex), ESD protection, and energy storage systems. We perform both accredited and non-accredited tests in our well-equipped laboratories according to international standards or customer-specific testing methods. With our extensive experience and expertise, we can also offer consulting and training in selected areas.

Our current group manager has chosen to take on a new challenge within RISE, which means we are now looking for an engaged and strategic leader for the Electrical and Electronic Products (EEP) group. The team consists of six experienced testing engineers with expertise in electrical safety, enclosures, and ESD protection. A large part of our operations is accredited according to ISO 17025, and we have a strong position in the market.

We are facing an exciting development phase where one of the key tasks for the new group manager will be to lead and further develop the operations while maintaining profitability and ensuring our high-quality standards. The role offers significant opportunities to influence and drive change in a dynamic and technically advanced environment.

The position is located in Borås.

About the role The EEP team is looking for a leader who can both communicate and successfully implement the business plan. To succeed in this role, an inspiring and clear leadership style is required, where you create engagement while ensuring that the team works towards common goals.

You will have full responsibility for the entire business, which means you lead and develop both your team of skilled engineers and our well-equipped laboratories. An important and initially challenging task will be to strengthen our market position by driving profitable growth. You are responsible for both profitability and customer satisfaction, and you report directly to the unit manager for Product Safety.

Who are you? To succeed in this role, you need to have a technical background that enables you to quickly understand and grasp the business. You have experience leading testing operations and are accustomed to navigating in changing environments. The group consists of experts with deep technical competence, which requires you to be a present and engaged leader who can inspire while providing clear direction to achieve success together.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, meticulous, and structured, but also has an analytical and creative approach. You combine a business-oriented focus with excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to build and nurture relationships. Your flexibility allows you to plan and drive your own work forward while valuing collaboration and actively contributing to a positive team spirit.
