About the assignment

We are looking for our next unit manager for a consultancy assignment in Gothenburg. The client is an organization within sports and health. The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible and last until 2025-06-30, with a chance of extension for up to an additional 3 months. The position is full-time, 100%, with work scheduled during daytime from Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required, as well as being on call approximately every 10th week.

Your responsibilities

The unit manager leads the organization, with a team leader, a coordinator, and about 17 lifeguards working at the unit. The assignment involves leading, developing, planning, and being responsible for the unit from a customer holistic perspective regarding operations, finances, and personnel. Always keeping the visitor in focus, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working with internal and external collaboration are some of your most important responsibilities as a unit manager. You will also:

• Proactively lead and develop the organization and employees to maintain the high level of service quality that the organization always strives for
• You provide structure by translating, breaking down, and clarifying goals, guidelines, and priorities

As a unit manager, you report directly to the operations manager for baths & wellness in the facility department. You are part of the management team of the business area, where you, together with skilled colleagues, contribute to overall management and business development. As an interim manager, you are not delegated work environment responsibility, but it is important that you have knowledge and experience of it.

Your qualifications

• Must be able to start the assignment no later than 2025-02-03
• University degree in economics, social sciences, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
• At least 3 years of experience as a manager with budget and personnel responsibility
• Experience from personnel-intensive operations with collective agreements and work during evenings/weekends
• You have a B driver's license (a car is available for use)
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
