Job Description

Are you interested in supporting an organization as an interim unit manager for a limited period? Do you have experience in leading and coordinating work in a collective employment setting with evening/weekend work? Have you previously had budget and personnel responsibilities? Then apply for the position as an interim unit manager for our client within the City of Gothenburg!

As a unit manager, you will work together with a team leader, a coordinator, and about 17 pool attendants to develop and ensure the service quality at the management's swimming pools. The facilities are located in Askim and Frölunda. In this role, you will be the manager for approximately 18 employees whom you lead with the help of a team leader. The goal is to provide well-functioning facilities, promote physical activity, contribute to improved public health, and a rich community life.

This is a consulting assignment starting on 2025-02-03 and will run until 2025-06-30. The working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, but some evening and weekend work occurs as you, as a manager, are on call approximately every 10th week. Qualifications

  • University degree in economics, social sciences, or equivalent as deemed equivalent by the employer
  • At least 3 years of experience as a manager with budget and personnel responsibility.
  • Experience from personnel-intensive operations with collective workers working evenings/weekends
  • Requirement for a B driver's license (Unit car available for use)
  • Good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with facility management is a plus.
