About the job

The work involves being placed at a population registration section where you and your colleagues work with mail forwarding and administration. The tasks require the utmost accuracy, concentration, and the ability to follow frameworks and routines. Some tasks may be perceived as monotonous.

We work in teams, and special emphasis will be placed on the team-based approach. You work closely with your colleagues, and you give and receive support from each other in teamwork. You learn and absorb new knowledge, both broadly and deeply. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong organizationally to the population registration unit 6 at the Tax Agency's Property and Housing Department, located in Gothenburg.

About you

In this job, you should:

• have good teamwork skills, be helpful, and have a good attitude
• be meticulous and structured

• communicate simply and clearly in writing and speech
• be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and delineate

You should also have:

• a completed high school education
• at least two years of work experience in administrative work in the last five years, such as mail handling, registration, review, and assessment
• good language skills in Swedish and English

It is desirable that you have current experience with similar tasks in a government agency. It is also desirable that you have recent work experience in mail handling.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

In this job, due to the nature of the tasks, there is no opportunity to work from home.
