Our diabetes and endocrinology clinic currently has about 20 employees. You will be part of a cheerful group that enjoys working together and cares about each other's well-being. Here, everyone collaborates to create an even better future clinic. Team spirit is important to us and well-developed; medical secretaries, receptionists, diabetes nurses, endocrinology nurses, nursing assistants, foot therapists, and doctors work closely together. Regardless of job role, we help and support each other in our daily tasks. As a medical secretary, you are a key person in all the work carried out at the clinic.

We have approximately 3,000 doctor visits and just as many nurse visits each year. Our patients are at the center of everything we do, and our values guide us in all aspects. Through the Green Cross initiative, we systematically follow up on our patient safety work that permeates the entire team's efforts. For medical secretaries, this may involve how well referral management, monitoring, and dictation work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a position for you who enjoy varied tasks and want a central role within our operations.

As a medical secretary at the diabetes and endocrinology clinic, we offer you a rewarding and varied job. Many of your tasks and routines will be created by you. You will work closely with your three medical secretary colleagues and also independently.

Your main tasks include writing medical records, registrations, wait time reports, telephone service, and booking patients. Every day is different, and so are your tasks. Currently, there is an opportunity for remote work for part of the position. Work in our reception is not included in this role.

In the development work carried out at the clinic, we are happy to utilize any additional skills you may have, such as production planning, the Healthcare Guide 1177, and the use of other IT systems. We also see this as an opportunity to further develop the medical secretary role.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must have completed training in health and medical care administration (80 credits KY or 400 credits YH) or equivalent medical secretary training. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as in medical terminology. Furthermore, you are an experienced computer user with knowledge of Melior, Webb-PASiS, QlickView, and 1177. Experience in improvement work and development is advantageous for the position, as the willingness to be innovative in order to make a difference for our patients every day is important to us.
