Property Economist / Finance Manager

In the role of property economist / finance manager, you will work independently with the accounting for Energiteknik and their approximately 20 clients. You will also provide consultative advice in the area of finance related to real estate companies and housing associations. You will be responsible for preparing annual reports for Energiteknik and their clients, calculating and paying preliminary taxes and property fees according to the Swedish Tax Agency's intervals.

The consultancy assignment starts immediately, no later than 15/1, and for the right person, there is an opportunity to transition to employment with the client when the assignment is completed.

Your main tasks

For Energiteknik:
- Handle ongoing accounting for Energiteknik
- Continuous and contract invoicing
- Accounts payable
- Salaries for all employees
- Bank payments
- Monitor supplier agreements
- Monitor customer agreements
- Annual reports
- Reporting
- Reconciliations
For their clients:
- Property owners and housing associations totaling about 20 clients
  - Prepare 10 to 15 annual reports for the above-mentioned client categories and provide information to the auditor
  - Create budgets for clients
  - Ongoing accounting work
  - Calculate and pay property taxes and fees where applicable
  - Handle incoming and outgoing payments according to the approval procedure
  - Manage customer and supplier accounts (in accordance with the client's chart of accounts and guidelines
  - Create fees and salaries in the associations that have them.
  - Handle transfers of condominiums
  - Handle liens, share transactions, and capital contributions
- Participate in meetings with property owners and housing associations
- Responsible for monthly reports for Property Owners Housing Associations
- Assist Energiteknik's administrators in Rent Administration and in rent and fee notification
- Support Technical Managers
- Support Administrators

Who are you?

To thrive in this complex role, you need several years of experience in the field of finance. As a person, you are unpretentious and not afraid to pitch in where needed. It is important that you have a keen interest in numbers and in orderliness. We value your planning skills for both time management and task planning. We are looking for an accountant/property economist who is reliable, stable, and meticulous in their work. It is advantageous if you have experience with property taxes and fees as well as condominiums. To thrive in your role, we believe that you are a communicative, advisory person with experience in project management. You need to feel comfortable in customer contact, as the position involves continuous customer interaction. You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
