Fun Job as Part-Time Personal Assistant to an Active Girl

Do you feel happy when you can make a difference in someone else's life? Do you enjoy unconventional working hours and like that no day is the same? Then the job as a personal assistant might be for you.

I am 19 years old and live in Åkarp, located between Malmö and Lund. I have a significant brain injury that results in multiple disabilities. My body is very spastic, and therefore I need help with all basic daily needs, such as getting dressed, maintaining hygiene, eating/drinking, moving around, etc. Despite my challenging body and significant limitations, I am full of energy and thrive on many activities.

Several of my regular assistants are studying this spring, and I hope to find a new 'assistant buddy' as soon as possible. To work with me, you need to:

· be around 25 years old

· be physically strong and have a lot of energy

· have Swedish as your native language or equivalent skills, as you will be my voice and interpreter

· be self-assured and have great patience

When you work with me:

· your workplace is wherever I am

· you should be able to work alone but also in a team with my other assistants

· you get to join fun activities like horseback riding, swimming, concerts, theater, and more

· you become part of my family and our community

Extra merit if you are familiar with and have experience in AAC and communication support like widget-go via touch cards and apps. A driver's license is desirable.

Working hours: afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Hours can vary between 8 - 16 hours per week (during school breaks, shifts may be longer). Flexible shifts based on a rolling schedule.

Employment: The position is a temporary part-time employment with the possibility of extension and permanent employment. Start as soon as possible. Salary according to collective agreement.
