Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an activity leader with a craft profile for the Finsams project FRAM.

FRAM is a collaborative project between the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, Region Skåne, the Public Employment Service, and the City of Malmö, operated by the labor market department within the City of Malmö. FRAM targets Malmö residents aged 18-65 with mental health issues and aims to help individuals return to work after a long absence from the labor market through work training, wellness activities, and various group activities. The work training includes creativity in the work training team, covering areas such as sewing, carpentry, beekeeping, and furniture upholstery. Our goal is to create an environment where participants can develop and prepare to transition to regular jobs or studies.

As an activity leader, your responsibilities include:

Planning, leading, and distributing tasks within the work training team in collaboration with other activity leaders.
Introducing and instructing participants in daily work within the creative area, where tasks are production-driven.
Contributing to the development and empowerment of participants in the work training team. We work based on the belief in the individual and that they can be equipped with the goal of obtaining a job in the regular labor market or starting studies.
Working with a language development approach and the greenhouse approach.
Continuously working with the work setup and adapting tasks to the target group.
Participating in follow-ups with labor market secretaries.
Being responsible for safety/routines/work environment at the workplace.
Collaborating with other work training teams in the building.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position, you should have:

Completed upper secondary education.
At least 5 years of experience in crafts, preferably in carpentry or sewing.
Experience in pedagogical learning.
Experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
Good knowledge of systematic work environment management.
Swedish – ability to communicate fluently in speech and writing.
Ability to handle digital tools and 365.

It is advantageous if you have:

Behavioral science or social pedagogical education
Experience leading individuals with a low language level in Swedish.
