The LSS department is part of the Social Administration and includes activities such as daily operations, short-term supervision, short-term stays, and service and group housing for children and adults.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you provide support and service to people with disabilities in all areas of life. This can involve planning the week, managing the household, and accompanying on leisure activities such as going swimming or shopping in town. Your work may also involve providing more practical support such as personal care, medications, transfers, and training. Some health care tasks require delegation from a nurse, and you will receive training during your introduction with us. Many of those who live with us also need support in creating and maintaining relationships, as well as managing their emotions and behaviors.

To thrive in this role, you need to have an interest in working pedagogically and the ability to see even the small progress in everyday life. You need to be secure in yourself and have the ability to meet people where they are.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Nursing Assistant
• Childcare Worker
• Pedagogical Education

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions.

You have the ability to perform in a pressured environment and handle difficult situations. You remain optimistic in the face of challenges and have the ability to accept and learn from criticism.

You have the ability to make quick and clear decisions, both independently and together with others. You also have good initiative.
