JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

On the adult side, we work with addiction/dependency, social psychiatry, domestic violence, and victims of crime. As a social worker, you will investigate applications and follow up on decisions regarding existing assistance. Furthermore, investigations are conducted according to both SoL and LVM. You will have close access to your manager and team meetings once a week with managerial support. You will work in the operational systems LifeCare and Mina planer. Your work will also include supervising students from the School of Social Work, of course based on your experience.

Currently, we are in the process of transitioning to the new social services law. This autumn, we have held several workshops with all staff in the department to best prepare for the upcoming requirements. Do you want to help shape the future of social services? Welcome with your application.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You have experience in public authority work within social services for adults. Of course, you follow the laws, guidelines, and legal practices that exist in the field regarding documentation and case management. You need to be able to write clearly, concisely, and well-structured and have the ability to adapt your texts based on the intended target group. Since travel may occur in the job, it is a great advantage if you have a B driver's license.

To work in the Adult Authority, you need to enjoy working with people and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, with an emphasis on collaboration. As a social worker, you should be able to juggle many tasks at once and independently prioritize, organize, and follow up on your work. You need to be analytical, flexible, and solution-oriented, as well as have good initiative. It is also important that you understand your scope of action as a case manager, that you have a strong sense of legal security, and a strong citizen focus. You are confident in your role as a social worker and secure in your case management.
