Our Operations

Clinical neurophysiology is a specialty that performs examinations and analyzes in nerves, muscles, spinal cord, and brain. The results of our examinations are used in healthcare to make the right diagnosis and/or to monitor a progression during treatment. We have a unique close collaboration and contact with the neurophysiological clinics in the Västmanland, Gävleborg, Dalarna, and Sörmland regions, and according to an agreement, all neurophysiological examinations are interpreted and analyzed in Uppsala. This is made possible through technical solutions for digital signal transmission as well as referrals and responses.

The clinic also performs highly specialized examinations in epilepsy surgery, as well as advanced work in neurophysiological monitoring during neurosurgical and orthopedic operations. Clinical neurophysiology is a specialty classified as medical service, which is why we are part of both the Neuro department and the Laboratory Medicine administration. Like other labs, we have our own referral and response system that receives referrals from Cosmic as well as from the regional hospitals' neurophysiological units.

Your Mission

As a section administrator, you provide administrative support to the section manager and department manager. The work is very varied and involves contacts with many functions at the hospital and at our regional hospitals. Examples of tasks include:

Administrative coordinator for neurophysiology at regional hospitals
Object specialist for the clinic's referral and response system
Participation in the Ordering and Response network as well as Laboratory Medicine
Scheduling and management of the Heroma personnel system
Course administration
DocPlus main author
Financial administration
Meeting minutes at section management and APT
Travel bookings
HSA admin
Admin for the 1177 personnel tool
Ordering and invoice management in Agresso
Planning doctor schedules
Administering the clinic's website in sharepoint

Your Qualifications

We see that you have post-secondary/professional education in healthcare and social care or in administration. It is a merit if you have experience in administrative work or basic training in economics. You express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English. You possess basic administrative competence and good computer skills. You have good knowledge of the Cosmic, Heroma, and Office package journal systems as well as other IT programs such as invoice management systems. It is important that you feel comfortable writing meeting minutes and that you can review and edit documents.

Your Skills

For the role of section administrator in clinical neurophysiology, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented, likes variety, and can work independently. You will have a crucial role and significance in ensuring that everything runs smoothly around the operation. You have the ability to contact the people and functions needed to solve problems and can work in a structured and purposeful manner. Personal qualities are highly valued.

We offer a permanent full-time position as a section administrator. A probationary period may be applied. Entry by agreement.
