Fagernäs School is a primary school with about 150 students from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located about 2km from Boden city center.

The school has three leisure departments, Solgården, Örtagården, and Kryddgården. We have a large and nice schoolyard with, among other things, a soccer field, climbing frame, ice rink, zip line, swings, and large open spaces. In winter, there is an ice skating rink and ski trails, as well as large snowdrifts to play on.

In the surrounding area, there are natural areas suitable for excursions and outdoor activities all year round.

At Fagernäs School, we are exploratory, value-creating, and interactive. We are full of optimism for the future, and we work for each student to develop trust in themselves and a high competence to meet the challenges of the future. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The leisure center's mission is to harness students' desire to learn and develop. The activities are based on national goals and take into account the students' interests, experiences, conditions, and needs.

The mission includes supporting students' social and general development, expanding and deepening their knowledge and experiences, and offering a meaningful leisure time. Students also get to practice democracy, influence, and responsibility in practice.

During the school day, you work together with a teacher in one of the school's classes.

Significant elements of the activities are play, movement, and creative work. The leisure center also collaborates with preschool class and school for the student's best interests in a holistic perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are educated as a leisure educator or resource educator, but other educations are also of interest. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are independent, responsible, have good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in each child's individual development. You have the ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-oriented and easily adapt to the needs of the operations. You are happy and positive, and you see challenges as something interesting and developing.

We see it as a positive if you have an interest in outdoor life and sports.

OTHER

Please attach a teaching license or diploma. A record extract must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
