Brönjaskolan is a grades 7-9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden city center, with approximately 300 students. Brönjaskolan has three teams organized by grade and a well-developed and unit-based student health service. The student health team consists of a special educator, school speech therapist, study and career counselor, school social worker, and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a safety team consisting of safety coordinators and safety resources, who actively work to create relationships, safety, and study peace for our students.

Our focus areas are goal fulfillment, study peace, and student influence. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, football field, and sports hall, as well as the forest at our doorstep.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to teach Spanish and English in grades 7-9.

Teaching will be your main task. You will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you create the best conditions for the students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

The position is primarily at Brönjaskolan, but also 10% at the nearby Mårängskolan (F-6).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a licensed teacher with the authority to teach Spanish and English in grades 7-9.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. You also have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.

Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You are experienced in using computers as tools in educational activities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
