Luleå Municipality is looking for a qualified physical education teacher

The Residens School covers grades 7-9 and is a middle school with approximately 210 students. The personal atmosphere is important for students to have the opportunity to grow, develop talents, and interests. The school is located right next to Hermelinsparken in central Luleå as part of a rich educational environment in the high school village. The transportation options here are very good. The school's goal is to always develop to maintain a high quality of education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a team and work closely with other teachers who teach both multilingual and non-multilingual students. Your duties include: planning and conducting lessons, assessing students' performance and addressing their developmental needs, as well as grading students. By creating a clear structure and varied teaching tailored to each individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements. You view documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as an integral part of your work and see yourself as an essential part of creating good conditions for students' learning.

The position is a full-time temporary contract from March 10 until June 20, 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with certification to teach physical education for grades 7-9, who can express themselves well in both spoken and written language.

You have the ability to build relationships with students and between students and can create a clear structure and framework to ensure a safe and accessible working environment for students. Furthermore, you have the ability to foster good collaboration with guardians, as well as with other professionals inside and outside the school. It is also important that you have strong analytical and reflective skills and that you continuously develop your teaching.
