Tullverket is looking for an IT Security Specialist

Tullverket's IT department in Luleå is northern Sweden's largest employer in IT, with approximately 290 employees. Here, you will work with the latest technology and participate in the development of several exciting areas of operation. We are looking for someone with current or previous work experience in similar roles within IT security or IT operations knowledge with a genuine interest in IT security and a curiosity that drives you to learn more!

About the position

You will be an important part of Tullverket's Security Operations Center (SOC). We consist of IT security analysts and IT security specialists.

We work with the latest technology to detect, analyze, and prevent intrusions. In your role, you will work in an active alarm flow where data is analyzed from multiple sources. Examples of main tasks include analyzing identified incidents and deciding on appropriate actions, interpreting the external situation, and identifying relevant threats to Tullverket, implementing settings and functions in IT security tools.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree in IT or other education and work experience deemed equivalent by Tullverket
• Relevant further education and/or certifications in the IT security field
• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in a SOC or equivalent security function
• Security monitoring: Log and alarm management
• SIEM/SOAR
• Windows and Linux environments
• Networking
• Security analysis
• Experience working within a government agency
