The Unit for External Information Exchange is in an exciting phase of development where Försäkringskassan strives to be at the forefront in terms of methods, tools, and working methods – we are creating the workplace of the future today!

Within the area, 15 employees work, the majority of whom are system developers. Our delivery area has a natural and central role in Försäkringskassan's IT organization.

Development, Java, Container Technology, and DevOps

As a system developer with us, you will work in teams and various constellations with a strong focus on collaboration and joint problem-solving. You are expected to have the ability to see the whole in system development, understand how different parts are interconnected, and contribute to a well-functioning whole. Your role involves not only writing code but also actively participating in the entire development chain – from analysis, design, all the way to delivery.

We are looking for someone who primarily has experience with Java and a DevOps mindset according to GitOps. You will work with container platforms and microservices architecture. We value a working method that focuses on automating and streamlining processes, where both software development and technology collaborate for the best possible results.

In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• has experience in system development in Java or equivalent
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has good communication skills, in speech and writing
• brings innovative ideas and solutions that promote development
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• has good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have

• knowledge or experience of agile team-based working methods
• knowledge or experience of DevOps principles and tools
• knowledge or experience of container technology such as Helm, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes
• knowledge or experience of GitOps
• knowledge or experience of technologies such as Hazelcast, ActiveMQ, Artemis, or Gradle
• knowledge or experience of automated testing.

Other

Two permanent positions, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. Försäkringskassan may conduct a financial background check before employment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Locations: Luleå.
