Maintenance Specialist with Electrical Skills for Scania Industrial Maintenance

We are now looking for an engaged maintenance specialist with electrical skills for our production maintenance in Luleå at Scania Industrial Maintenance. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in coordinating and managing resources to ensure quality maintenance. Experience in lifting technology is an advantage.

As a maintenance specialist, you will be part of a team of maintenance technicians and specialists working together to ensure that Scania has safe machines and equipment with high technical availability.

Your Tasks

As a maintenance specialist at Scania IM, you will have deeper expertise and more experience. You will be responsible for technical areas where the focus will be on improving preventive maintenance and supporting technicians in their daily work. As a maintenance specialist, you will work closely with production, and your role will also include training and educating less experienced maintenance technicians and operators during maintenance work. Your tasks will be both operational and administrative.

Examples of other tasks include:

• Driving analytical troubleshooting
• Conducting root cause analysis after stoppages
• Coordinating longer urgent interventions and breakdowns
• Participating in inspections for statutory requirements

Your Profile

We are looking for a collaborative, self-driven, and responsible maintenance specialist with an interest in improvement work and problem-solving.

We also see that you have:

• A technical education at the high school level
• High technical competence within Scania's production equipment
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. (Swedish at least SFI level C2).
• A valid driver's license (B)

You have good computer skills and experience in automation and electronics. Great importance is placed on fundamental technical competence and drive. Experience in lifting technology is an advantage. We view experience in process industry and maintenance systems like Maximo positively.

The position is full-time, permanent, during daytime hours, and is located in Luleå.
